Artwork preparation can be a nightmare in the printing industry for both customers and printers alike. Ensuring the best printing outcome as possible depends heavily on ensuring the artwork is preparation is prepared perfectly. Therefore, there are a few general rules of the thumb in artwork preparation to follow:

Set size format of the file according to the dimension you required (Take note of the maximum size allowed per printing job)

Set bleed & safety margins each at 3mm

Use CYMK colour mode, set artwork to 300DPI & always use high resolution images

Ideally save your files as PDF-X1a if possible however we do accept .ai (Illustrator) / .psd (photoshop) / .ind (indesign) files

Always remember to outline your fonts & embed your images

Special Finishing - Spot UV / Hot stamp etc

For artwork utilising special finishing options such as spot uv or hotstamping will require extra preparation on the artwork so that we will know which are the areas that need to be specially finished

For Spot UV artwork, ensure that there is two files. First file #1 consist of the full actual artwork and another file #2 consist only of the area to be spot UV highlighted in red. Ensure that the area to be spot UV are perfectly aligned in both files to ensure the best result
